“Art is my facilitator, ferrying me across the
divide, into my subconscious. It’s there that I find the raw material that will
tell a new story, one infused with mystery, whimsy, organic movement or the
stillness of a frozen lake at dusk. A successful work of art is one that
engages the viewer in a satisfying dialogue. Everything I paint, collage or
photograph is designed to start and, hopefully continue, this great
conversation.”
After graduating from
KeanUniversity of NJ with a Fine Arts
degree, BJ Lloyd taught art for awhile, created the art for many album/CD
covers, and opened her own public relations company. Now a full-time working
artist, she creates in Mixed Media, Collage, Digital Art, Digital Photography,
Acrylics, Assemblages and whatever else strikes her fancy. BJ Lloyd is a member of the Housatonic Valley Cultural Alliance. Her work is
available to art collectors, galleries, interior designers, home stagers, art
publishers, and for corporate & hospitality needs.
